(ooc: oh hi. i’m probably going to be revamping this blog a bit soon to adjust sora into being more post-KH3D—which, as you can see, i’ve already started some doing 3D-era threads ahaha (with spoiler tags, mind you!). however, i’ll probably just be playing sora to suit whichever point in the timeline anyone needs him to be. :3
ok you may now resume your regularly scheduled rping)

Sora had tensed visibly at the sight of Organization XIII’s number two before him, unsure of what to expect from him now. Although he hadn’t really thought much of Xigbar beyond being just another one of Xemnas’s lackeys in the past, that had all changed after their encounter in the Realm of Sleep. After all, he’d been one of the main perpetrators responsible for leading Sora straight into darkness…

“You again!” Sora accused on the defensive, fists clenched. “What do you want from me now? If you think I’m gonna play along with another one of your schemes this time, you’ve got another thing comin’!”
Sora and Riku’s Magical Gay Adventure (Warning: KH3D Spoilers!!)
Riku needed a break.
Each clash of Kairi’s Keyblade against his own made his arms ache a little more, and his back was becoming stiff with pain. However, he held strong and said not a single thing. It wasn’t until Kairi drew her blade close to her and paused to study Riku that anyone mentioned it.
“Riku, maybe you better go relax. You look exhausted.” The worrying look in her eye indicated that she wasn’t going to back down on her decision; and quite honestly, Riku didn’t have the energy to fight her on it anyway.
He let the Keyblade vanish out of his grip in colorful wisps of magic and took the opportunity to excuse himself from both Kairi and Mickey with a silent head nod. He hadn’t realized how much he’d even wanted to be left alone until he turned to walk away, and he picked up his pace to escape.
He was stressed. He was thinking about Sora, and where’d he run off to. But he shouldn’t have been worried—how many times had Sora run off on his own before to save the universe? Then again, it was merely weeks ago that Riku was saving Sora from an otherwise horrific fate, so… his worrying was somewhat validated.
Riku found a nice quiet spot around the side of Yen Sid’s tower and leaned against the cool concrete—a stark contrast from the warm sweat that soaked through his shirt. And when he closed his eyes and let his head dip down, he didn’t realize when he’d let himself tumble into a light slumber.
For Sora, there had been a lot of soul-searching on his behalf. Of course, his heart wasn’t weak, and Sora would never willingly give into the darkness. But… that didn’t change the fact that it did happen, regardless of whether he had consented to it or not. He had been so lost in the dark depths of his dreams, unable to find his way back to the light, that the darkness had swallowed him. Almost whole, even, had someone’s light (whose light? someone familiar) not protected him until Riku and Axel—no, Lea—had come to his side. Sora owed everything to them, his heroes from the darkness.
Most importantly, however, he needed to improve himself so that what happened in the Realm of Sleep would never happen again, and so that he too could be a Keyblade Master along with Riku. He wasn’t jealous, no, not really—more like totally elated that Riku, who had struggled with the darkness for so long, had actually become a Keyblade Master! It was honestly incredible, and Sora looked to Riku’s new status as a goal for him to aspire to. It was like this great success story you always hear about! He’d catch up soon, so long as he kept working at it—he was determined. Until then, it was non-stop training in the Realm of Sleep, as well as revisits to other worlds and helping people as much as he could.
Upon encountering Riku snoozing off by the side of Yen Sid’s tower while Sora took one of his breaks, he couldn’t help but snicker. Talk about role-reversal! It was actually pretty strange for Sora to catch Riku dozing off somewhere, and he almost wished that he had a camera for posterity. Was Riku really training that hard? Must’ve been awesome top-secret-Keyblade-Masters-only business. “Riku…” he started quietly, low enough so that it didn’t affect Riku’s dozing, before leaning in close to his ear.

“TIME TO WAKE UP, SLEEPYHEAD!”
@Chosenkey
Kairi smiled wider. “You’d do that? Really?” She asked. “Thanks Sora, it sounds like a great idea!”

“‘Course I would!” Sora responded with a wide grin, his arms crossed behind his head in his contentedness. “What’s better to spend my munny on than my friends, right? I mean, it’s pretty much either that or food and stuff.” Stepping ahead of the redhead, Sora turned around and walked backwards for a few moments, keeping up with her pace so that they paced together. “C’mon, I’ll race ya!”

ooc: yes it was, thanks! i spent several hours on it every single day so i’ve barely been around at all. i’m glad you like it! we need to be sora and riku together sometime ;A;

back from AFO! god it’s been so long since i’ve been online that it’s actually really strange to fall back into that sense of normalcy. i’m pretty much ready to sleep forever.

“Hmm…” Sora paused thoughtfully as possibilities ran through his head.

“How ‘bout… Ice cream! I’ve got some spare munny, so I can spot you!”
